Attitude Accessibility

Attitude accessibility refers to how readily a person's feelings or beliefs about something can be retrieved from memory. When an attitude is highly accessible, it can be quickly and easily brought to mind, influencing decisions and reactions. For example, if someone regularly hears positive information about electric cars, their favorable attitude toward them becomes more accessible, making them likely to choose an electric car when buying a vehicle. In contrast, if someone rarely thinks about a topic, their attitude may take longer to recall, affecting their responses and choices related to that subject.
