ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)

ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, is a regional organization founded in 1967 to promote political and economic cooperation among its ten member countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia. ASEAN aims to enhance regional stability, foster economic growth, and encourage cultural exchange. It provides a platform for member nations to address common issues, work together on trade, and improve the livelihoods of their people, making Southeast Asia a more integrated and prosperous region.
