Artistic Gymnastics
Artistic gymnastics is a competitive sport where athletes perform routines on different apparatuses, showcasing strength, flexibility, balance, and creativity. Men typically compete on six apparatuses: floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar. Women perform on four: floor, vault, uneven bars, and balance beam. Routines are judged based on difficulty and execution, with artistic expression also playing a key role. Competitions can include individual events as well as team performances, with gymnasts aiming to achieve high scores for precision, style, and complexity. Major events include the Olympics and World Championships.
