Zenker's Diverticulum

This pouch can collect food and liquids, leading to difficulty swallowing, bad breath, and sometimes aspiration into the lungs, which can cause infections. It is most common in older adults and is usually diagnosed with imaging tests. Treatment options include dietary changes and, in severe cases, surgery to remove the diverticulum.
