The Yerkes-Dodson law highlights the relationship between stress or arousal and performance. It suggests that a moderate level of stress or excitement can enhance performance, leading to better focus and efficiency. However, too little stress may result in boredom, while excessive stress can cause anxiety and hinder performance. Essentially, there is an optimal level of stress that helps us perform tasks effectively; too little or too much can be counterproductive.
