War of the Peasants

The War of the Peasants, also known as the German Peasants' War (1524-1525), was a major uprising in Germany where peasant groups revolted against oppressive feudal practices and economic hardships. Inspired by the Protestant Reformation's calls for social justice, these peasants sought rights and better conditions. They faced both local nobles and the state, leading to violent conflicts.
