Utopianism and Dystopianism
Utopianism, in political philosophy, refers to the idea of creating an ideal society, usually with perfect social, legal, and political systems. Oppositely, Dystopianism talks about a world where everything is imperfect and oppressive, often caused by societal, governmental, or technological issues. Both concepts are used as critique tools, Utopianism proposing perfectible solutions, while Dystopianism warns about potential societal breakdowns.
