
Ötzi
Ötzi, also known as the Iceman, is a remarkably preserved prehistoric mummy found in the Alps on the border between Austria and Italy in 1991. Dating back to around 3300 BCE, he offers invaluable insights into Copper Age life, including clothing, tools, and diet. Ötzi was about 5 feet 3 inches tall and had a variety of ailments, revealing health issues of his time.
