Neolithic

The Neolithic period, often called the New Stone Age, marks a significant shift in human history, roughly from 10,000 BC to 3,000 BC. During this time, people transitioned from a nomadic lifestyle of hunting and gathering to settled farming communities. This agricultural revolution allowed for the domestication of plants and animals, leading to food surpluses, which fostered population growth and the development of villages and eventually cities. Societies became more complex, with advancements in tools, pottery, and trade. The Neolithic laid the foundation for modern civilization by promoting social structures and technological innovations.
