European Prehistory

European prehistory encompasses the period before written records, spanning from the earliest human presence over a million years ago to around 500 AD. It includes the Stone Age, marked by tools and hunter-gatherer societies; the Neolithic Revolution, when agriculture began; and the Bronze and Iron Ages, which saw advancements in metalworking, trade, and complex societies. This era laid the groundwork for later historical developments, including the rise of classical civilizations. Archaeological findings, such as tools, art, and settlements, provide insight into the lives, cultures, and innovations of prehistoric Europeans.
