Ötzi (Iceman)

Ötzi, also known as the Iceman, is a well-preserved prehistoric human discovered in the Alps in 1991. He lived around 3,300 BCE and is one of the oldest known natural mummies. His body was found in glacial ice, which remarkably preserved not only his remains but also his clothing and tools. Ötzi provides valuable insights into early human life, including diet, health, and social structures. Studies of his body revealed he had various health issues, and artifacts found with him indicate he was skilled in survival techniques, such as hunting and using fire.
