Paleolithic
The Paleolithic era, also known as the Old Stone Age, is the period in human history that spans from about 2.5 million years ago to around 10,000 BCE. During this time, early humans lived as hunter-gatherers, relying on foraging for food and primarily using stone tools. They roamed in small groups and developed early forms of social structures, art, and communication. The era is significant for human evolution, as it marks the transition from primitive living to the beginnings of agriculture and settled life that would come in the later Neolithic period.
