Copper Age
The Copper Age, also known as the Chalcolithic period, marks a transitional phase between the Neolithic (Stone Age) and the Bronze Age. It occurred roughly from 4500 to 3300 BCE, depending on the region. During this time, people began to use copper tools and weapons alongside stone tools, signaling advancements in technology and trade. Societies became more complex, with emerging agriculture, settled communities, and the beginnings of metallurgy. The Copper Age laid the groundwork for the following Bronze Age, where the combination of copper with tin created stronger alloys, further transforming human civilization.
