The Holocaust (Shoah)

The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah, was the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its allies from 1941 to 1945 during World War II. The Nazis, led by Adolf Hitler, believed in the racial superiority of the Aryan race and viewed Jews as inferior. This genocide also targeted other groups such as Romani people, disabled individuals, and political dissidents. It remains one of history's most horrific examples of intolerance, highlighting the dangers of hatred, discrimination, and indifference to human suffering.
