The Hanging Garden
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, celebrated for their extraordinary beauty and innovative design. According to ancient texts, they were built in the Babylonian city of Babylon (in present-day Iraq) around the 6th century BCE, possibly during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar II. Described as a series of tiered gardens filled with various trees and plants, they are said to have seemed to "hang" above the ground, with an advanced irrigation system that made them lush and green. However, their actual existence remains a topic of debate among historians.
