
Sir Ian Rankin
Sir Ian Rankin is a Scottish author best known for his crime novels featuring the character Detective Inspector John Rebus. Born in 1960, Rankin's work is celebrated for its intricate plots and rich exploration of social issues, particularly within Edinburgh, where many of his stories are set. He has received numerous awards for his writing, including the prestigious Edgar Award.
