Tansen was a legendary Indian musician and composer from the 16th century, renowned for his profound influence on classical Indian music. As one of the Navaratnas (nine gems) in the court of Mughal Emperor Akbar, he advanced the development of Hindustani classical music, known for his exceptional vocal and instrumental skills.
