Substance Monism

Substance Monism is a philosophical concept that suggests everything in existence is made up of one fundamental substance or reality. In contrast to dualism, which divides existence into two distinct types (like mind and matter), substance monism argues that all things—whether physical or mental—are manifestations of a single underlying substance. This view implies that differences we observe in the world, such as between objects or thoughts, are variations of the same fundamental essence. Essentially, it proposes that at the core, everything is interconnected and arises from a unified foundation.
