Stroop Test

The Stroop Test is a psychological experiment that showcases the conflict between our automatic and controlled processes. Participants are presented with color names (like "red," "blue," "green") printed in different ink colors. The task is to name the ink color instead of reading the word. For example, if "red" is printed in blue ink, you should say "blue." This test illustrates cognitive interference, as our brains struggle to process conflicting information, highlighting how we can be influenced by automatic reactions when trying to focus on a specific task.
