Strato of Lampsacus was a Greek philosopher from the 4th century BCE, known primarily for his work in the field of natural philosophy, particularly in the school of Atomism. He succeeded Theophrastus as the head of the Lyceum, Aristotle's academy. Strato focused on studying the natural world and emphasized empirical observation and experimentation.
