Schwartz’s Theory of Planned Behavior

Schwartz’s Theory of Planned Behavior suggests that our intentions to perform a behavior are influenced by three key factors: our attitudes toward the behavior (how we feel about it), subjective norms (what we believe others think we should do), and perceived behavioral control (our confidence in our ability to do it). When we have positive attitudes, feel social pressure to act, and believe we can succeed, we are more likely to follow through with our intentions. This theory helps explain how people make decisions and take actions in various aspects of life, including health, environment, and personal goals.
