Resistance Movement
A resistance movement is a group or organization that opposes an occupying power, oppressive regime, or dominant force, typically through non-violent or armed actions. These movements often arise during times of conflict or authoritarian rule, aiming to restore rights, promote freedom, or challenge injustice. Examples include the French Resistance during World War II and various anti-colonial movements. Resistance movements can take many forms, including protests, sabotage, and guerrilla warfare, and often rely on grassroots support and widespread participation to achieve their goals.
