Reproductive strategy

Reproductive strategy refers to the various ways organisms reproduce and raise their offspring to ensure survival. These strategies can be broadly categorized into two types: "r-strategy" and "K-strategy." R-strategists produce many offspring with less parental care, relying on sheer numbers for survival (e.g., insects). K-strategists have fewer offspring but invest more time and resources in raising them (e.g., elephants). Each strategy affects population dynamics, survival rates, and how species adapt to their environments. Understanding these strategies helps explain diversity in life forms and their reproductive behaviors in nature.
