Rıza Nur

Rıza Nur (1879-1942) was a prominent Turkish politician, writer, and intellectual during the early Republic period. He played a significant role in Turkey's transition from the Ottoman Empire to a modern nation-state. As a member of the Turkish Nationalist Movement, he was involved in reforms aimed at secularizing and modernizing the country. Nur was also an advocate for education and cultural advancement. In addition to his political contributions, he authored several works on Turkish history and literature, helping to shape the identity of the newly established Republic of Turkey.
