Phobos-Grunt
Phobos-Grunt was a Russian space mission launched in 2011, aimed at exploring Phobos, one of Mars' moons. The spacecraft was designed to collect soil samples from Phobos and bring them back to Earth for analysis, helping scientists learn more about the moon's composition and the early Solar System. Unfortunately, shortly after launch, it encountered technical problems and failed to leave Earth’s orbit. The mission was a significant attempt at planetary exploration but ended in disappointment due to its inability to reach its intended destination.
