Parliament of Canada
The Parliament of Canada is the country's legislative body responsible for making laws, debating national issues, and overseeing government actions. It consists of two chambers: the House of Commons, where Members of Parliament (MPs) are elected by Canadian citizens, and the Senate, whose members are appointed. Parliament’s main roles include passing laws, approving government budgets, and representing citizens' interests. It operates in Ottawa and works to ensure Canada's governance reflects the will of its people within a constitutional framework.
