
OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation)
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is an intergovernmental organization founded in 1969, consisting of 57 member states with significant Muslim populations. Its main purpose is to promote solidarity and cooperation among its members in various fields, including politics, economics, culture, and social issues, while also advocating for the rights of Muslims globally. The OIC seeks to address challenges faced by Muslim communities, strengthen ties among member countries, and voice collective concerns on international platforms, such as promoting peace, security, and development in the Muslim world.
