Numidia

Numidia was an ancient kingdom located in North Africa, mainly in what is now Algeria and parts of Tunisia. It emerged around the 3rd century BCE and played a significant role during the Roman Republic's expansion. The Numidians were known for their skilled cavalry and often served as allies or adversaries to Rome. The kingdom eventually fell under Roman control in the 1st century BCE, becoming a province of the Roman Empire. Numidia's rich culture, influenced by Berber and other civilizations, contributed to the historical tapestry of North Africa.
