Nizam Shah dynasty
The Nizam Shah dynasty was a Muslim ruling family in the Deccan region of India, primarily in present-day Maharashtra. Established in the late 15th century by Malik Ambar, the dynasty is notable for its contribution to culture, architecture, and administration during the 16th and 17th centuries. The Nizam Shahi rulers were patrons of arts and literature, and they played a significant role in the history of the Deccan Sultanates. The dynasty eventually fell to the Mughal Empire in the 1630s, but its legacy influenced the region's culture and politics.
