The National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB) was a UK organization responsible for safeguarding public health against radiation risks. In 2005, it merged into the Health Protection Agency (HPA) to continue its mission within a broader health framework, emphasizing the importance of understanding and managing radiation in daily life and industry.
