Mousterian culture
Mousterian culture refers to a prehistoric way of life associated with Neanderthals in Europe and parts of Asia, roughly between 300,000 and 30,000 years ago. It is characterized by distinctive stone tools, particularly a technique called Levallois, which allowed for the production of sharp edges from a single rock. These tools were used for hunting, processing food, and other daily tasks. Mousterian people lived in small groups, relied on a variety of food sources, and adapted to diverse environments. This culture provides insight into the behaviors and skills of Neanderthals and their survival strategies.
