Mild Cognitive Impairment
Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) is a stage between normal age-related changes in memory and more serious conditions like Alzheimer's disease. People with MCI experience noticeable but mild difficulties in memory, thinking, or attention, which are greater than expected for their age but do not significantly interfere with daily life. While some individuals with MCI may progress to dementia, others may remain stable or even improve. MCI is often an opportunity for early intervention and monitoring, as it can help manage risks and maintain cognitive health.
