National Alzheimer’s Plan Act
The National Alzheimer’s Plan Act (NAPA) is a U.S. law designed to address the growing impact of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. It aims to improve care and support for individuals affected by these conditions, enhance research efforts for treatments and prevention, and create better public awareness about Alzheimer's. The law establishes national goals and coordinates activities across federal agencies. Ultimately, NAPA seeks to significantly advance the understanding and management of Alzheimer’s disease by 2025, with the hope of finding effective interventions and improving the quality of life for those impacted.
