Migraine aura

Migraine aura refers to a range of sensory disturbances that some people experience before or during a migraine headache. These can include visual symptoms like flashing lights, blind spots, or zigzag patterns, as well as sensory disturbances such as tingling or numbness in the face or limbs. Auras typically last between 20 minutes to an hour and can signal the onset of a migraine. They are thought to result from changes in brain activity and blood flow, and while not everyone with migraines experiences auras, they are an important feature for those who do.
