Madero Revolution
The Madero Revolution, occurring from 1910 to 1911 in Mexico, was a movement led by Francisco I. Madero against the long-standing dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz. Madero advocated for democratic reforms and an end to political repression. His call for free elections resonated with many Mexicans who sought change. The revolution marked the beginning of the Mexican Revolution, a complex and multi-faceted conflict that aimed to improve social, economic, and political conditions in the country. The uprising eventually succeeded in ousting Díaz, paving the way for significant political changes in Mexico, although instability would continue for years.
