Francisco Villa's Division of the North
Francisco Villa, also known as Pancho Villa, was a key figure in the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920). He led the Division of the North, a formidable army that fought against the oppressive government and for land reform. Composed mainly of peasants and revolutionaries, the Division aimed to reclaim land for the poor and challenge the elites. Villa's forces were known for their cavalry tactics and impactful raids, notably during the battles in northern Mexico and confrontations with American forces. His leadership made him a symbol of resistance and social change in early 20th-century Mexico.
