Liu Bang, later known as Emperor Gaozu of Han, was a significant figure in Chinese history, born around 256 BC. He initially worked as a commoner and became a military leader during the rebellion against the Qin Dynasty. In 202 BC, he defeated his rivals and established the Han Dynasty, which lasted for over four centuries. Liu Bang is known for promoting Confucianism, implementing administrative reforms, and stabilizing China after the harsh rule of the Qin. His reign marked the transition from imperial autocracy to a more centralized bureaucracy, shaping the foundation of future Chinese governance.
