Latitude and Longitude
Latitude and longitude are coordinates used to specify locations on Earth. Latitude measures how far north or south a place is from the Equator, which is at 0 degrees, ranging from 0 to 90 degrees. Longitude measures how far east or west a location is from the Prime Meridian, located at 0 degrees and running through Greenwich, England, ranging from 0 to 180 degrees. Together, these coordinates create a grid system that allows us to pinpoint any location on the globe, facilitating navigation and mapping.
