lateralization of brain function

Lateralization of brain function refers to the way certain cognitive processes are more dominant in one hemisphere of the brain than the other. Generally, the left hemisphere is associated with language, logic, and analytical thinking, while the right hemisphere is linked to creativity, spatial abilities, and emotions. This division allows for more efficient processing of complex tasks by specializing functions. However, both sides often work together and communicate through a bundle of nerves called the corpus callosum, enabling a balanced and integrated approach to different types of tasks and experiences.
