
Ladakh
Ladakh is a region located in the northern part of India, known for its stunning landscapes, including mountains, deserts, and rivers. It is bordered by Tibet to the north and Pakistan to the west. Often referred to as "The Land of High Passes," it has a rich cultural heritage influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. Leh is the largest town and serves as the region's administrative center. Ladakh is also known for its unique wildlife, traditional festivals, and adventure tourism, attracting trekkers, bikers, and nature enthusiasts from around the world. In 2019, it was designated a Union Territory of India.
