Pangong Lake

Pangong Lake is a high-altitude, saline lake located in the Himalayas, straddling the border between India and China. It spans about 134 kilometers and is known for its striking blue waters and dramatic mountain scenery. The lake is situated at an elevation of about 4,350 meters (14,270 feet) and experiences extreme weather conditions. Notably, it gained attention during the India-China border conflict, particularly in 2020.
