Karl Marx (Beer and Socialism)
Karl Marx, a 19th-century philosopher and economist, is best known for his critiques of capitalism and his ideas on socialism. He argued that capitalism creates class struggle, primarily between the bourgeoisie (owners) and the proletariat (workers). Marx believed that, to address inequalities and worker exploitation, society should transition to socialism, where resources and means of production are collectively owned and managed. He famously analyzed social issues, including how workers' rights and community welfare could enhance human dignity and cooperation. The concept of socialism aims for a more equitable society, contrasting sharply with the competitive nature of capitalism.
