Joint instability

Joint instability refers to a condition where a joint is unable to maintain its normal position and stability during movement. This happens when the structures that support the joint, like ligaments and muscles, are weak, damaged, or stretched. As a result, the joint may feel loose, painful, or prone to dislocations. Commonly seen in sports-related injuries or conditions like arthritis, joint instability can lead to difficulty in activities and may require rehabilitation or sometimes surgical intervention to restore strength and proper function.
