Italian Parliament

The Italian Parliament, called "Parlamento Italiano," is the country's legislative body responsible for making laws. It comprises two chambers: the Chamber of Deputies (Camera dei Deputati) and the Senate (Senato della Repubblica). The Chamber has 400 members, while the Senate has 200 elected members and some lifetime senators. Both chambers work together to draft, debate, and vote on laws, approve budgets, and oversee the government. Members are elected by citizens in regular elections, and they play a vital role in shaping Italy's policies and governance. The Parliament meets in Rome and operates within a framework of a parliamentary republic.
