Iqbal

Iqbal refers to Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a prominent philosopher, poet, and politician in British India during the early 20th century. He is best known for his Urdu and Persian poetry that inspired the Muslim community and fostered a sense of identity and nationalism. Iqbal emphasized self-discovery and empowerment, advocating for spiritual revival and advocating for the establishment of a separate Muslim state, which eventually contributed to the creation of Pakistan in 1947. Often called Mufakkir-e-Pakistan (The Thinker of Pakistan) and Shair-e-Mashriq (The Poet of the East), his literary works remain influential in South Asian thought and culture.
