
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar is an Afghan politician and former warlord, known for his role during the Soviet-Afghan War in the 1980s. He led the Hezb-e Islami party, which fought against Soviet forces with support from the U.S. and Pakistan.
