Galactic Center

The Galactic Center is the central region of our Milky Way galaxy, situated about 26,000 light-years from Earth in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius. It contains a high concentration of stars, gas, and dust, with the most significant feature being a supermassive black hole known as Sagittarius A*. This black hole has a mass millions of times greater than our Sun and influences the motion of nearby stars. The Galactic Center is an area of intense star formation and is crucial for understanding the dynamics and evolution of our galaxy.
