eventing

Eventing is a multi-discipline equestrian sport that combines three phases: dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. Competitors ride a horse through these three events over a series of days. Dressage tests the horse's precision and training; cross-country involves navigating a course with natural and artificial obstacles; and show jumping showcases the horse's agility and ability to clear jump barriers. Success in eventing requires skill, teamwork between horse and rider, and versatility across different riding styles and challenges. It is often called "the triathlon of horse sports."
