Fédération Equestre Internationale
The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) is the international governing body for equestrian sports. Established in 1921, it oversees various disciplines, including show jumping, dressage, and eventing, ensuring fair competition and safety for both horses and riders. The FEI sets rules, organizes championships, and promotes the welfare of horses globally. It also works to develop the sport by encouraging participation at all levels, from amateur riders to professionals. Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, the FEI is recognized by the International Olympic Committee and plays a key role in equestrian events at the Olympics.
