European Institutions

European institutions are organizations that manage and govern the European Union (EU). Key bodies include the European Commission, which proposes laws and implements policies; the European Parliament, which represents citizens and approves legislation; and the Council of the EU, where member states' governments collaborate on decisions. The European Court of Justice ensures laws are interpreted and applied uniformly. Together, these institutions work to facilitate cooperation among EU countries, promote peace and stability, and address issues like trade, environment, and human rights, ultimately enhancing the welfare of European citizens.
